FAIR Play is a Web3 and blockchain-based platform that allows integration with bookmaking (betting) companies to attract their users through bonuses and completed tasks. This approach helps maintain greater interest and a higher user retention rate.
I created this entire project alone as the Lead Designer, working directly with the Product Owner and the development team.
I had a significant impact on improving the overall user experience and the product as a whole by discussing and refining design solutions.
I developed all branding and logotypes, created the Design System, and designed the iOS and Android applications along with their web versions. Additionally, I crafted presentations, managed social media, and designed a promotional landing page.
My first task was to create the logo. To do this, I drafted a mood board, and using the product name “Fair Play," I started sketching. I focused on maintaining a sense of "game” and “betting” while simultaneously conveying the feeling of “new technology”.
The final logo depicts FairPlay as a platform (represented by the dots) where companies and players can unite to form something greater. Additionally, the logo represents a die/cube for rolling.
The main logo features the letter ‘F', while the logo for FairProtocol—the underlying application protocol—uses the letter 'P’. This design structure allows for the future expansion and differentiation of various products, establishing a clear and recognizable brand identity.
The application design began simultaneously with the development of prototypes and the creation of the design system structure. The design system was subsequently refined and expanded until it reached its final appearance.
The prototypes served as the initial starting point, largely defining at least 80% of the functionality. Following this, the application design was finalized without further prototyping.
The main challenge was the visual noise from the multi-colored banners typically used by bookmaking (betting) companies. To prevent this from dissolving into a visual cacophony, a color-coding system was established based on the event type (card games, sports, slots, etc.).
The primary accent color was chosen from the FairPlay logo, and the secondary color from the FairProtocol logo, with a neutral violet chosen for the background. This color coding was also applied to achievements, as well as daily, weekly, and monthly quests.
After the application design was complete, it was adapted for web-mobile and web-desktop, incorporating specific changes necessary for those platforms.
A pitch deck to get betting companies interested in a partnership. Simple, easy, and clear visual style
